Muddy Water Pirates

The first of High Rock Lake's two great Marinas, is the
High Rock Lake Marina and Campground. This
marina has full service gas pumps and plenty of
parking to get it. They rent pontoon boats and
campsites in the form of cabins or tent sites. They
have a full service grill and ice cream shop too!

The other marina, and just as good, is the
Tamarac Marina on the Rowan County side
of the lake. Just like HRLM&C, Tamarac has
a convenient store, a grill and ice cream
shop, and gas, but it is self service. They rent
pontoon boats and have a campground off
the road a little bit, but if you bring in a
camper, you can rent a spot. One thing that
sets this marina apart is that they can sell
alcohol because of the county.

Tamarac hosts fishing tournaments most
every weekend during the summer, and many
times, you can get something to eat at the
grill and sit out on the patio rocking to music.
